Stepping into Music Programme Assistant
6 hours per week for an initial period of 3 months
Fee of £12 per hour on a freelance basis
The Dalcroze Society would like to appoint an enthusiastic and motivated Programme Assistant for Stepping into Music, its acclaimed early years programme. Supported by Arts Council England, and working in partnership with a variety of arts, early years, and education organisations, Stepping into Music provides accredited training for music, dance, and early years professionals, as well as creative music and movement opportunities for under-fives and their parents/carers.
Providing administrative support to the Programme Manager, and working as part of the Programme team, the Assistant will undertake administrative tasks including website maintenance, event and training course support, and responding to requests for general information. The successful applicant will be resourceful and thorough, with sound IT knowledge including spreadsheets. An interest in arts education is essential, and this role offers an excellent opportunity to those who wish to gain experience and knowledge in this sector.
This position will operate on a freelance basis at £12 per hour for 6 hours per week, and with an initial 3-month contract offered. A job description is attached to this post. Please contact the Programme Manager with any further enquiries.
